My Birthday

Hi Everyone, I had an amazing first birthday! Grammy and Grandpa V came over to my house for dinner and we had lots of fun. I got a lot of presents and got to have a meatball for dinner! YUM! Mommy and Daddy also got me my very own birthday cake! Here are some videos of my day.

So yesterday was a really nice warm day, and Mommy and Daddy took me outside to play Frisbee. Here are some pics.

The Saga of the Purple Blanket

So there has been an ongoing test of wills here at home. Mommy has a favorite blanket and unfortunately for her, it is also MY favorite! It is really soft and warm and a really pretty purple. I love this blanket! She tries to take it from me all the time. So unfair! She treats me like a dog! Here are some pictures of me cuddling up with MY blanket...isn't it pretty?

Sharing Dinner with Daddy

Tonight Daddy was having dinner and WOOF did it smell good! I decided that it was time for Daddy to learn how to share. Unfortunately, I got caught red-pawed! I swear that Mommy has surveillance cameras around here!

My First Easter

Hi All...I hope everyone had a great Easter! I certainly did! Mommy and Daddy and I went Grammy and Grandpa V's house and it was a fun time. I got to see my doggie cousins that I don't see very often. Here are some pics of me playing with them.

I haven't posted in a while- nothing really has been happening. I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Easter. Hope the Easter Bunny was good to you! I am sure Mommy will be taking pictures of me today, so I will post again soon. WOOF!

My First Trip to the Dog Park!

Today was the first really nice warm day of the season and Mommy and Daddy took me on my first trip to a dog park. WOOF was it FUN!
There were so many other dogs there...I got to run around and play with all of them. I even met some nice humans too. I had a blast!
And of course Mommy took pictures of my big adventure (she is like paparazzi sometimes!)
Anyway, I hope that they take me again real soon, because I truly had a good time!

My Latest Trip to Petsmart

Last weekend Mommy and Daddy took me to Petsmart to buy some food, treats, and other goodies. Look at all the cool toys I got! Most of which, at this point, have gone to a place that Mommy and Daddy refer to as 'The Island of Misfit Toys.' Which, by the way, I think is nothing more than a plastic bag hidden in the closet, but more on that later.

Valentine's Day at our House

My first Valentine's Day was so much fun! Mommy and Daddy took me to Petco and Petsmart for the day....I got to go on a little shopping spree! Here are some pics from my day.

Ok, so I am SUPER excited because it has been kind of warm out and most of the snow has melted and I now have my yard back! It is so much fun to have room to run around!

My New Crate

As I mentioned before, I got a new crate, and I gotta say it is quite luxe! It is a lot bigger and the new pillow is SO plush! And this crate is personalized too...Mommy bought a name plate for my front door that says 'Lexi's Place'

So a few weeks ago, during a snow storm, Mommy was at work and Daddy was out shoveling, and I was left to my own devices in the house and here is what happened (seriously, what's a dog to do?!?)

In case you can't tell, this is the foot of Mommy & Daddy's bed after I chewed it!










But that isn't even the best part...when Mommy came home, boy was she mad! But not at me though- she was mad at Daddy!
So I guess that if I do something fresh, Daddy gets in trouble for it! I can totally live with that!

Hi to All

Hi everyone...it's been a while since I have posted because Mommy and Daddy and I have been so busy! After the holidays we had a bunch of family birthdays to attend and of course all the snow that we have been getting!
But anyway, Mommy and Daddy have been talking all weekend (BTW, do they think that I can't hear them?!) about my surgery on Tuesday. Apparently I am broken, because they keep saying that I am getting 'fixed'...I am not entirely sure what is going on, but I have a feeling that I am not going to like it....they took me to Petco the other day and bought me a new crate (or as Daddy calls it 'The Box') with a nice new pillow inside of it and some cool new toys. Also, tonight's dinner, instead of just my usual kibble, was a MEATBALL! So something is definitely up, I know that I am a fairly pampered pooch, but this goes beyond the normal routine around here!
So I guess I will post more after my surgery to let everyone know how it went.
